Well ... as you can see the content of the site is starting to show some additions. And after months of putting it off the learning process has started. So new content - but being added by a slow and confused trainee!

Another week - another batch of faded news! I can see why people throw this sort of thing away. Some newspapers and magazines have got past the point of no return; torn, dirty, faded, creased and breaking up when touched.

"There is little or no information about the race available on the internet and no book has been written about the event" was the Wikipedia comment about the 1950s editions of the Tour of Ireland when last I checked. But now that has changed - thanks to efforts to find and transcribe race infomation from contemporary publications.
